Publish with Genix Books

Genix Publisher offers end-to-end book publishing for research monographs, edited volumes, handbooks, and textbooks—available as open access (OA) and print-on-demand (POD). We combine rigorous editorial evaluation with professional production, global distribution, and long-term preservation so your scholarship is discoverable, citable, and classroom-ready.

Why Publish Your Book with Us

Our team supports you from proposal to post-publication: developmental guidance and peer assessment, careful copyediting and typesetting, accessible design, chapter-level DOIs and rich metadata, and targeted marketing. Authors can choose OA licenses (e.g., CC BY) to maximize reach, while POD ensures durable print copies for libraries and teaching.

Book Types We Consider

Research monographs; edited collections; methods/protocols; handbooks and field guides; textbooks and course companions; thematic book series and conference-derived volumes (with independent editorial review).

Proposal Guidelines (What to Submit)

Send your proposal to books@genixpublisher.org including: title, synopsis (300–500 words), unique contribution and competing titles, target audience (researchers/graduate courses/professionals), anticipated length and illustrations, detailed chapter outline (with brief abstracts), sample chapter(s), editor/author bios and ORCIDs, timelines, and preferred OA/POD options. For edited volumes, include the contributor list and an editorial plan for peer review and chapter standardization.

Editorial Assessment & Peer Review

All proposals receive initial editorial screening for scope and quality. Full manuscripts or sample chapters may undergo single- or double-blind peer review by subject experts. Editors handle conflicts of interest and provide consolidated feedback focusing on scholarly rigor, clarity, and market fit.

Production & Design

Accepted projects move through professional copyediting (terminology consistency, reference style), typesetting (print-ready PDFs and accessible EPUB/HTML where applicable), and cover/interior design aligned with your discipline. Figures are prepared at 300–600 DPI; accessibility (alt text, color-blind-safe palettes, heading structure) is standard.

Open Access, Rights & Licensing

We support OA under Creative Commons (default CC BY 4.0, unless otherwise agreed). Authors retain copyright while granting Genix the right to publish and distribute. Third-party content permissions must be documented; we provide templates and guidance.

Discoverability & Indexing

Each book and chapter receives a Crossref DOI and machine-readable metadata (ONIX, MARC where available). We distribute to major library and retail channels, index discovery services, and deposit with preservation partners to ensure long-term access.

Funding, APCs/BPCs & Agreements

Open-access books may require a Book Processing Charge (BPC) or external funding (institutional, grant, or society support). We offer transparent quotes, installment options, and waivers/discounts for eligible projects. Traditional/hybrid models (royalty-bearing) are also available by agreement.

Author Services (Optional Add-Ons)

Language editing; figure redrawing and infographic design; data/code deposit support; permissions clearance; index creation; plain-language summaries; media kits and launch webinars.

Typical Timeline (Indicative)

Proposal review (2–4 weeks) → Peer review (4–8 weeks) → Contract → Manuscript development (author-led) → Copyedit & typeset (4–8 weeks after delivery) → Proofs (2–3 weeks) → Publication (OA/POD) → Ongoing promotion and updates.

Ethics & Integrity

We follow COPE/ICMJE-aligned policies for authorship, conflicts of interest, image integrity, plagiarism screening, and corrections/retractions. For human/animal studies, include approvals and consent statements within chapters.
